When I started work on my Old West Layout I decided that the town would probably have a brothel. I hadn't used this Micro Structures Victorian home yet, so I decided to paint it up for this purpose.
The exterior of the house and the porch floor were painted with Model Master Hot Magenta. I used their Napoleonic Violet for the stairs and trim. The roof was painted with Testors Flat White. I used Floquil Boxcar Red for the chimney and their Concrete for the house's foundation.
I painted what I could before cutting any parts from the original unit, then touched up after assembly. I had no particular problems with this kit, except that the roof for the square tower didn't fit well against the rest of the roof. So I used a little Woodland Scenics Foam Putty to fill in the gaps.
