Health and Household Tips You've probably heard that you can stop or delay a sneeze by pressing your finger under your nose. Well, I'm not a physician, and I'm not licensed to practice medicine, but I thought you might be interested in a few items that have helped ME with some "health and household problems." Note: Before trying any of my suggestions that involve putting something into your mouth, nose, etc, consult your doctor. This is what I do when I get the hiccups. I've found that this helps whenever I get a headache from eating ice cream too fast or am getting what I think may be a migraine. Here's something my chiropractor suggested that I do for my back when he was going to be out of town for a week or two. When you get sick with a bacterial infection and take an antibiotic the antibiotic often kills off the "good bacteria" in your intestines, resulting in diarrhea. This is what I do when I get a "fever blister" or "cold sore" on my lips. My wife, Janet, used to have problems with arthritis. Here's what I've been doing for ants in and around the house.
